A gloomy afternoon, spent finishing and pressing 16 Christmas stockings for the quilt guild I am in. They will be given, along with dozens of others, to a local charity.
Spending some time by the brightest window in the house is always a good idea when our seemingly endless days of winter will soon be scrolling by.
The bright and cheery Christmas prints of these donated fabrics definitely brightened and cheered me up.
Matching the odd assortment for body and cuff to coordinate was a challenge I embraced. Putting fabric combinations together is one of my favorite things.
