Washi Wednesday!

Washi-faves_0001

Washi is “What’s Up” on this Wednesday post! Do you love this simple, sheer, colorful, fun tape? I do!

Here are some of my favorite finds as I was looking for new washi ideas over the last few days. Share your inspirations in the comments!

Clear votives is all you’ll ever need if you jazz up your tea lights like this — so easy to customize them to just the look you want! http://fourandknowmore.blogspot.com/2014/01/this-little-light-of-mine.html

Clothespins accented with washi could be used for so many things! On the frig (with a magnet), party decor, chip clips… so much more! Here is a beautiful post showing so many pretty ones. http://www.makelifelovely.com/2013/04/washi-tape-clothespins-tutorial.html

This is from way back in time, but I think the washi-accented Kraft paper giftwrapping is just as fresh as ever! So easy to make it your own with all the washi choices out there in the world, and you could use white freezer paper if prefer it over the natural Kraft look! http://www.thesweetestoccasion.com/2011/11/washi-tape-gift-wrap/

Here’s one I thought I’d seen a million times, but is still useful! Cover any notepad or empty book with washi to make your own statement. But keep reading — there is a clever clever pen idea! And those just happen to be my go-to pens! http://crazylittleprojects.com/2012/07/washi-tape-notebook-and-pen-set.html

Last, but my favorite! Temporary wall art! Whether for a party, a dorm/apartment, or just for some quick fun use washi to frame out some prints! Love this! Bonus: you’ll see some gorgeous party planning ideas while scrolling down to the washi framed prints, too. http://www.100layercake.com/blog/2014/05/28/sofia-coppolas-marie-antoinette-inspired-welcome-home-party/

 Happy taping!
