Looking ahead…

Today I was feeling SO uninspired.  I had a ton of work to catch up on from over the holidays, i was super tired, and i had nothing prepared for today’s post.  As the day went on and I was drilling away at my stack of unedited photos (as stacked as digital photos can be), I kept trying to brainstorm what I would create today and then write about.  And what did I come up with…

Nothing.

My mind was just a complete blank.  I needed some inspiration.  So as my work day was drawing to a close I decided to head to the library to browse some books and see what I could come up with.

So what did I come up with?

Well, nothing…

Yet.

But I think I’m a little closer to finding some projects for the new year.  I already had one goal for the year… to read at least 52 books cover to cover.  And craft books can count as long  as I actually read them, not just browse them.  And I definitely found some potentials in that category today.  In this stack I’ve got a couple of fiction (of course, my first stop at the library is always the new releases section…), and the rest have to do with some other goals for this year.  Learn how to sew, bake my own bread, redecorate parts of my house, cook good food, and actually do some scrapbooking in my scrapbooking room!!

So now I’ve got til I post again on Monday to actually report back and make something!  Wish me luck!

Oh, and if you have any good book recommendations, crafting or not… I’d love to hear them!  I’m a reading fiend and love expanding my literary horizons!
