Honestly, this was fun to attempt… but just not as pretty as I was hoping. Maybe I needed prettier napkins like the inspiration I got this idea from. Maybe they are a little cute, but the crinkles and folds (which are inevitable with this process) just bug me a little bit.
Oh well… even though I think I prefer Monday’s doodles or yesterday’s traditional dip-dye, I still enjoyed decorating a few more eggs to close out my portion of egg week.
Napkins (or tissue paper), eggs and egg whites is all you need to decoupage your eggs. Just brush the egg white over the top of the napkin as you apply it to the egg (there are photo directions in the inspiration link above)!
Oh… and you can totally draw a little mustache man after you give him a striped bandana tied around his head. ;)
