Shamrock Wall Art

Last month I made a Valentine’s wall hanging for an empty spot in my hallway, and since St. Patty’s Day is next week and Valentine’s is long gone, I figured it was time to update that rotating artwork area!

I really, really LOVE how this turned out, and it was SO easy!

I used some patterned packing tape and taped over a shamrock template I had cut out, and then with my handy-dandy exacto knife I trimmed all the edges evenly (easier than trying to wrap the tape around the back of the paper).

I even kind of like the ridges in the packing tape, it makes it look a little distressed to me.

Then, with all the green and white flowers and buttons and sparkly round stickers I could find in my craft room I positioned and taped them down over the template!

Ta-da!!  After March is over, I’m definitely going to find a place to keep this for next year!

Also… I’d like to dedicate this very GREEN post to my mama. ;)
