It is, truly, my new project obsession… making these car seat covers. First I made one for myself, then one for my friend’s little guy, and now another for a sweet friend’s new little lady! Who I got to meet last week. Squishy and little and squishy and OH SO CUTE!!
I’m hoping she (and her sweet mama) will love this little car seat cover! I love the colors and patterns of fabrics for hers so much that it almost makes me want to make another for myself! Maybe in the spring. :) In the meantime… I’m pretty sure I know a few others expecting babies…
I decided to do the “racing stripes” for this one, just because I couldn’t hide this brilliant blue, but the blue flowers in the other fabric pull that color out so nicely I had to have them side by side! Add the coral ric-rac, and the sweet little flower detail and call it good!
Oh, and I used wider velcro on this one for the straps… SO much better! And so now, for the third time… if you want the instructions for how to make one of these look HERE.
