At least, I think green beads are best. But you might have guessed that. This is the green-obsessed half of 2create posting today ;)
I woke up extra early this morning, which is a very odd occurence. There seems to be a sleep-disturbing cloud around our house; even my hubby is feeling it. So after I decided I wasn’t going to be able to snooze any longer, I crept out of bed to do something quiet.
Very quiet.
Stringing beads is very quiet.
I had been surfing the web looking at beading designs the last few days. I’ve been feeling the jewelry-making bug! So I was all set to play…
This quick and clever little stringing pattern was perfect. My quantities of beads were not quite perfect, but with a couple subtitutions I was able to make this great bracelet just my size.
I love it. I have been waiting to find something just right to use the large dark green beads for, and this bracelet lets them be the star.
I have a couple new green print knit shirts that this will look fantastic with — yay! I was severely deficient in green shirts, so I had to rectify that situation. How did that happen? Oh yeah, I wore them out before the all the other colors. Now I have a new bracelet to wear with them.
I saved back a couple of the dark green beads, just in case I might need some coordinating earrings. I guess you’ll be some of the first to find out if I get around to that project ;)
Green beads — aren’t they pretty? They’re the best!
