Straight from the Oven: Pretzels!

I’ve been wanting to make pretzels for a while now.  But the last time I made them it took hours and lots of work for one little batch of pretzel bites.  They were good and all… but I needed some more bang for my buck.

And then I found this recipe!

Hellllooooo?!  Half an hour, start to finish?  Heck yes!

And really truly, start to finish, including the dishes and photographing some of the process… about 45 minutes!  I’d say that is a TOTAL win!

I divided the batch in two and made some cinnamon sugar pretzel sticks…

Which I believe shall be dipped in some cream cheese frosting tonight for dessert!  :D

And then, of course, I had to make some more traditional pretzels!

I mean, you’ve got to put some big salt on those suckers!

And then because I knew Aaron would love it, and also because I’m still trying wives’ tales to get this baby out… I spiced up a few with some chili flakes!

Served with some nacho cheese, straight out of the oven??

… umm… which would be me… ’cause i was the only one home!   :D
