Let’s talk about Peanut Butter. And Chocolate. And Sea Salt.
And wait… you just let those three ingredients sink in, and I’m going to tell you a story.
Well, it’s not a very good story. But… It’s just that yesterday Mom came up to help me with final prep stuff for baby and the nursery. While we were out running errands, we stopped by this cupcake shop by my house and got a few to sample. There has been a lot of hype about this cupcake shop, and yet I was just… underwhelmed. I mean, they were good cupcakes… but maybe I’ve just been too spoiled by delicious home-baked goodies my whole life.
I mean, Mom is a rock-star baker after all.
Of course I did eat some of those cupcakes… I mean… I am pregnant, and I have had a wicked sweet tooth. But still… they just left me wanting something better. Something that would actually satisfy that wicked sweet tooth!
So today, I woke up thinking about Peanut Butter Cups, which are one of my all time favorites! And I remembered I had pinned this recipe not too long ago.
And I figured… hey… they are Peanut Butter Cups… AND… I already have all the ingredients. (AND… I’m totally digging anything with sea salt on it too…)
AND…
Done & Done. Sweet Tooth Satisfied…
With only one I might add… these babies are RICH!
