Crochet Cuff Bracelet

I’ve been busy busy painting the last few days, and amidst all that bending/taping/painting I’ve had to really take it easy in between.  This baby belly is gettin heavy!

So my little side project was this crochet cuff bracelet!  And I’m so thrilled with how it turned out!

I found this wave stitch web page that looked so cool!  And I really wanted to make something using these three colors of yarn I had just gotten.  The only problem was that it was in Italian…

hmm…

thankfully the nice photos and google chrome’s translate feature helped me out a little bit.  :)

Basically it’s just a combination of double crochet’s and your basic chain, with a little weaving in between!

Then I kind of overlapped the ends how I liked and added a button to hook the bracelet, and voila!

Fun little summer bracelet that I managed to do in between painting!

Two projects in one day?!  I’m on a roll…  :D

In fact, I need to get up and do the next round of painting right now!  I’m layering colors and have to wait a certain amount of time in between coats, so if I stay on top of my schedule, I can get four rounds of painting done in a day!

I’m really hoping I can show you the results on Thursday… I can’t wait to share!!  Well, I can’t wait to see the finished product myself either!

But for now, I leave you with this fun little side project, and a little glimpse at what appears to be my: soon-to-be-an-outie belly button  LOL.

I had to throw that one in there ;)

  • meemaw crochets - This pattern would make a nice necklace with as many colors you wanted to be the width and as long as you wanted:) I have never tried this stitch before but I will now. A summer necklace is my idea with pastels:) Thanks for sharing!09.15.2013 – 8:05amReplyCancel
