There’s more than one way to express yourself in a letter. Or should I say “on” a letter.
I have such enthusiasm for letters and words, starting long before Typography was the trend.
When the craft stores started carrying these large paper mache letters, I started snapping them up.
I have letters — most unfinished (or even unstarted) — for the words CREATE and IMAGINE plus a few more.
This E got plastered … er, decoupaged! … with all things E that I want to be reminded of, or that express who I am.
This one will become part of the word create; which E will depend on the colors and themes I choose for the remaining letters: each will be its own project but they will have to work together as one display.
I’ll get to them soon, because they’re destined for my ~studio~, which will be coming together in a whole new way this spring. Maybe afterwards, I will quit feeling like I have to offset the word studio everytime I use it LOL
And maybe afterwards, you’ll get to see the remaining letters evolve and eventually end up exhibited.
Brought to you by the letter E. And a lot of sticky, papery fingers.
