Kitchen Prints

I want some kitchen art!  So why not make my own?  Gather fruits and veggies I like, make a simple background, add a light, and take some photos!

Here are some behind the scenes photos… See… you can do it too!

If you have a DSLR camera the trick is to have a wide open aperture (low f-stop) so the background blurs out.  You could choose different background colors and play around with lighting.  I have fancy studio lights but I just used my bedside lamp to show you that it is possible to do this without all the fancy equipment.  I did do some post processing on my photos.  Cropped some, bumped up the contrast and made some black and white.

Go make some kitchen prints!  I’m thinking about printing the B&W ones on canvas to put up in my kitchen!
